I’m Tea J. Owner of @thedecaldistrict.shop. Creator of @thefemmesmuse. And I make things. I’ve been a creator of things ever since I can remember. I began designing and printing years ago but I decided to really take it on the Summer of 2015, while sailing the Atlantic during a World Tour deployment. This happens to also be the time that I decided to live in my truth and not live in fear of judgment because I am a Womyn Who loves other Womyn. Since coming out and living in my truth I’ve noticed that #blacklesbianfemmes are the most magical beings! We are! We’re authors, entertainers, mothers, makeup artist, wives, commentators, musicians, comedians, bosses, students, soldiers, politicians, actors, producers, filmmakers, poets, and several other hats. We rock at everything that we touch all while being silently judged, discriminated against, and hated or hated on. Our #blacklesbianculture is Dope! We know us, but they don’t know us! But why?! We should be proud and unashamed. After noticing our lack of representation, I decided to launch The Femme’s Muse. It’s a simple movement really. Graphic Tees with our message, our culture. I just want my style to speak for me. When I throw on my #BlackFemmeMagic hoodie, I meet other #melaninlesbians simply from a nod, a smile or a “I love your sweater.” Then one day it hit me... these are my #sisters, my #family and I would have walked right by them any other day, wearing any other sweater. But because I wore my truth, I’ve made some new connections and isn’t that what we all need more of? I said a lot in this caption but I really just wanted to introduce myself to you.

✨I’m Tea J. and I’m the Femme’s Muse.
